An award-winning Silent Disco Citywalk® was created by Yana Kirakovskaya, Founder and Creative Director at Papaya Stories in April 2018. She was interested in  how a curated soundtrack could change the way we connect to the city, each other and ourselves.  Therefore she decided to create an immersive audio walking experience that will help others to fall in love with the city and themselves.

Since 2018, our team organised over 100 events, activated 15 neighbourhoods in Tamaki Makaurau, came up with
25 unique walking journeys and made over 1,500 people happy.

Silent Disco Citywalk® has grown so big, so we decided to create an independent platform for our grooves and moves – www.silentdisco-citywalk.com that has all the information about our upcoming events and events packages.

However Silent Disco Citywalk® hasn’t only enable us to deliver lots of joy to diverse communities, but it also made us PROs in curating and creating diverting immersive audio experiences: from clean ups to secret beach parties, from writing the script to tell your story to share local Maori narrative in an unique way, we can organise it all.
